Greetings from the middle. 0
Mid-July. Mid-Summer. Mid-2009 tour. The last four weeks of the MOVE 2009 event have been incredible! We’ve seen thousands of students converge on staple locations such as Milligan College (TN), Hope College (MI), Anderson University (IN), and Fort Lewis College (CO). It has also been exciting to witness some new locations. One of our teams just returned from sunny Myrtle Beach, SC, while another team is resting from a great week at our first event with Johnson Bible College (TN).

Last week, I had the privilege of directing that first event at JBC. In the face of figuring out the logistics in a new venue, the crazy rush of packing out the dorms, and staff and participants finding their way around a new campus…the week went amazingly smooth. Thanks to the JBC staff and faculty for your accommodating and cooperative spirit!
It’s an exciting tour! As we walk through the Exodus narrative, students are drawing parallels from the journey of the Israelites to their own present day reality. The shackles of sin are being broken…idols are being cast down and trampled. Students and leaders alike are returning home with an action plan.
We’re looking forward to the next four weeks of MOVE. Currently we have teams kicking off events at Lee University (TN), Biola University (CA), and Southern Illinois University. Please be in prayer for these CIY teams, as well as the students and leaders attending!
If you’ve already attended a week this summer, a big THANKS to you! For those of you who are about to attend (and don’t even know about this site yet) we can’t wait to hang out with you!
Hope you’re having a great day!
Chad
